IT'S SUMMER IN FLORIDA...........
The real estate market is sizzling! - and so is the weather, but that doesn't keep us inside! According to Dr. Stephen P. Leatherman, (aka, "Dr. Beach"), Pinellas County's Fort DeSoto Park is THE best beach in the country! We think so, too, and now our secret's out. AUGUST brings concerts, an auto show, the monthly "gallery walk" and, of course, our monthly "First Friday" street party downtown.
SO, YOU GET THE PICTURE. WE'VE GOT LOTS TO DO.
ASIDE FROM ALL THESE RECREATIONAL DIVERSIONS, St. Petersburg also has some SERIOUS DEVELOPMENT going on, especially in the downtown area. These projects include the expansion of the University of South Florida and St. Petersburg College, as well as a dozen high rise loft and condo projects. One of these projects, The Seville Condominiums, is actually the redevelopment of a historic mediterranean revival style building downtown. This gem of a building, still features all of the beautiful Spanish architectural details common to the 1920's building boom in Florida.
